Ise Shima, Kashikojima
Kashikojima Hojoen Japanese Inn

About

Kashikojima, where Kashikojima Hojoen is located, is the largest of the Ago Bay islands in Ise Shima National Park, Mie Prefecture.
The inn is situated a 40-minute drive away from Ise Jingu Shrine, and close to Kintetsu Kashikojima Station.
Conveniently located within a two or three-hour drive from Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya.
The island was selected to host the G7 Ise-Shima Summit held in May 2016. The naturally indented coastline of the bay, known as a ria coast, provides authentic Japanese panoramas.
The calm seas of Ago Bay are also perfect for the cultivation of pearls, which has been carried out since olden times.
Views of the pearl beds, which are a characteristic feature of Ago Bay, are available from the guestrooms.
The quality of the pearls cultured in the vicinity is famous throughout the world, leading Kashikojima to be known as the birthplace of pearls.
We hope you will enjoy a luxurious stay amid this natural environment in which time moves slowly.
